Mikayla Kryzanowski
(she/her) Behavioural Support Specialist, Lead of Practice
Mikayla is on vacation from Crosswinds, but when she’s here, she’s a patient, kind, and warm practitioner that’s training to be an Applied Behavioural Analyst therapist at Douglas College. Mikayla is neurodiverse, openly LGBTQ, and connected widely with the disability advocacy community. Her passions are baseball, hockey, skating, and concerts. She really loves some Tate McRae, Gracie Abrams, and Taylor Swift, amongst others to jostle her music library. You’ll often find Mikayla in the community, at home, or at Douglas College, learning how to support others.

Caicey Douglas
(she/they) Behavioural Support Specialist
Caicey is a talent at everything she throws at her. She runs a non-profit, plays sports, does technology stuff, gets outside, and inside with the local drop in centre and Douglas College. She’s passionate about disability justice, and with her calm (sometimes tempered) demeanour, she’s ready to handle pretty much any situation you can throw at her. You can often find Caicey at Douglas College and at the swimming pool.
Email Caicey at Caicey.Douglas@odssbc.ca.
Raymond Zhou
(he/him) Peer Support Worker
Raymond is a warm, gentle soul who has won medals from the Special Olympics while enjoying various activities, like dance, the drop in centre, queer events, and so much more. Raymond is into watching hockey a lot, as well as following the sports news in general. Raymond is a queer man who doesn’t believe relationships are worth it (but Caicey is fine). Raymond will sit there and listen to you talk about your life. He is your teddy bear. You can often find Raymond at the local drop in centre or doing sports at Special Olympics.
Email Raymond at Raymond.Zhou@odssbc.ca.
Larissa Gunkel
(she/her) Peer Support Worker
Larissa is a peer facilitator at Real Talk, self-advocate, and is a prominent figure in the community. She is a stalwart, a steady hand, and someone who will advocate for you too. She’s getting better now, and you’ll see her in the community again soon, helping others, but this time in a wheelchair. You’ll often find Larissa at BC People First events, People First of Canada events, and at the Inclusion BC and Unlocking Connections conferences.
You can email Larissa at Larissa.Gunkel@odssbc.ca.
